Back Home

It is 8:11 on Sunday night. I was in the hospital since thursday valentines day. I started feeling bad on Wednsday night and ran a high fever all night. On Thursday we went to an allready scheduled oncologist appointment. He took one look at my sorry a$$ and checked me in. I had pneumonia. I spent the last few days on heavy antibiotics and morphine. I am really really glad to be home. That said I had a pretty good time in the hospital. The food was OK, the staff was awesome and my care was excellent. The Chickenhawk spent the fisrt night with me and Granny (my mom) the second. David spent the last night with me. It was like a campout with pain, piss and poop. I truly grew closer with each of my babysitters and had an all round good time except for the having cancer and pneumonia and pain part.
I'll write more soon. Thanks for haning in there. I am back and I am strong.
PS Blogger still isn't letting me spell check and I have got bigger fish to fry than figure out why it aint working so thanks for bearing with me.

No one would think twice, of a Hilton that's nice
When they could be home in the trees, with little girls on their knees.

We are glad you're home surrounded by loving ones.

Sooooo glad to hear you're home, Spencer! We're thinking of you tons here on Scappatella, especially whenever we see pirate stuff (which is all the time!)

Bikesgonewild is right....you ARE an awesome dude with a GREAT attitude! Who else but you could make us laugh reading your blog Day 1 out of the hospital!

Louis and I opened some of our "Messages in a Bottle" yesterday in your honor on our sail over to Nanny Cay. Guess we wanted to feel more connected...it worked! Wish we could be there in person to offer you all our support, but know that we're there in spirit and will do whatever we can from afar.

Lots of love to you, Sarah & the kids....
